Greater New Orleans Clean Air Coalition

With the recent strengthening of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for ground-level ozone, the Greater New Orleans Area is on the cusp of falling out of attainment for ozone. Using the example set by the Baton Rouge Clean Air Coalition and with the assistance of LDEQ, RPC formed Greater New Orleans Clean Air Coalition. This is a coalition of local governments, state environmental agencies, relevant trade associations, businesses, industries, and ports who convene with the goal of finding the most effective ways to improve air quality, specifically focused on ozone.

2019 Coalition meetings will be held from 10:00am-11:30am at the Regional Planning Commission (10 Veterans Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124) on the following dates, with the exception of the Louisiana Air & Waste Management Association-sponsored Lunch & Learn on May 23rd from 11:00am-12:30pm.
